Mona is an artist working with paintings. For a number of years she has worked with the water-colour technique, which is very demanding, since the traces you put on the paper stays forever. The colours are overlapping each other, and this gives the fascinating colour tones that can be achieved only by this technique.
Mona often works with different series and themes.
People, architecture and places are important elements in her paintings. Places where people meet, communicates, where they wait or pass by each other. All is kept in a picturesque landscape, figurative but still tending towards a strictly controlled and geometric expression.
She also has works at Akershus kunstnersenter and Elverum kunstgalleri.
Here she presents all new works and a catalog supported by the Norwegian Council for Cultural Affairs. In the gallery, she shows a movie that shows the process and the development of a work.
